Whether you need to test your webcam before a Zoom meeting, snap a quick profile picture, or record a video message, doing so securely is paramount. Most online webcam tools require you to stream your video feed to their remote servers for processing. We use Zero-Trust Architecture. By leveraging the HTML5 MediaDevices API, 100% of the video rendering, photo capture, and video recording happens locally in your device's RAM. Your camera feed never touches the internet.

Why am I getting a "Camera Access Denied" error?

For security reasons, modern web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) block access to your camera by default. You must explicitly click "Allow" when the browser prompts you. If you accidentally blocked it, click the lock icon in your browser's address bar, find the Camera permission, set it to "Allow", and reload the page.

Where are my photos and videos saved?

When you take a photo or record a video, it is saved into a temporary "Gallery" located in your browser's memory (RAM). You can view the gallery by clicking the Image icon in the top right of the camera window. Important: Because this is a zero-server tool, if you close the tab or refresh the page, your gallery will be erased. Be sure to click "Save" on the items you want to keep to download them to your physical hard drive.

Why doesn't the video recording capture audio?

To ensure maximum privacy and prevent annoying feedback loops while testing, the microphone request is disabled by default in this specific utility. This ensures that even if you accidentally leave the tab open, it cannot listen to your conversations.
